I am doing a bookfair for the Ne/Ia Food Bank's Backpack program (and I'm hosting "The Pig" for donations to the program too) - if you would like to participate in the bookfair to help the Food Bank get FREE books for the kid's backpacks go to: www.myubam/bf25801 and the orders will be applied for FREE books.

- Great idea, Tina. I think the best place for that would be within Brian's group "Ultimate Specials". If you're not already a member of the group, join and then you can create a discussion there for Black Friday Specials. The group is done by monthly or "anytime" specials (meaning something that never expires) and since Black Friday doesn't really fall into either of those categories, you can create a new discussion within the group specifically for this. Once you do that, let me know and I'll broadcast it out so that everyone can add theirs too if they have one going on.
Again, GREAT idea!! : ) Oh, have you had a chance to mail out your stuff to me?

- Hey Tina,
I know I'm a little late at answering this but I figured I would just incase you were still looking for the answers. Yes, my diaper cake page on FB is a business page, otherwise known as a fan page. They are indeed two separate pages (your business and your personal). When someone becomes your friend on your personal page they are NOT automatically a fan of your business page. There is a way to invite all of your personal friends to become fans of your business page in one simple step. (let me know if you need to do this).
Vice Versa, fans of your business page do NOT have to be friends on your personal page. Now, how do you gain fans, right? Well, the easiest way for that is to always give out your fan page URL to everyone. Mine is at the bottom of my emails in my signature line as well as one sites such as this where it asks you. We edited the personal questions here a while ago and now one of the questions asks for your facebook business page. To add yours, you would edit your page (on the left side of the screen under your icon photo). Also, in the forum there is a Roll Call for both Facebook and Twitter. If you haven't already done so, you can add your URL's to those listings as well.
Oh, and another thing I do is on my personal FB page in the little text box under your photo I typed a little message about visiting our fan page and then I put the fan page URL. Not only is it easier for people to find your fan page, but it's easier for you too.

Thanks for answering the roll call. : ) No problem on not being able to distribute now. I totally understand and appreciate all that you've done for the group on your end. I will remove your address from the distributor list for you. In the event that you want to distribute again, just shoot me an email.
As far as the other distributors...Vickie and Beth both have shows coming up. Dorinda has made a new discussion within the group that advises us of who's got an upcoming show and how many items are needed. Beth's is next weekend, I believe. Vickie, however, has an event every weekend between mid Sept through the end of Dec!! I'm not sure if any one is more family-oriented than the other so you may want to ask Vickie directly.
As for me, I don't have any shows lined up. I'm just distributing mine with each and every order .... which if I may add has been picking up big time around here! : ) You said you prefer family-oriented things, but keep in mind that all of my customers are either pregnant or the family/friends of her. I'd say that's pretty family-oriented. : )
Feel free to send me whatever you'd like (if you want to) from Usborne or Avon. Samples, No Samples, whatever. I'm always willing to help promote!

- Hey Tina! Long time, no speak! How are you? How's it going with Avon and Usborne? Listen, the Mom Pack group was asking about some of the distributors that are listed not having amounts listed. Do you still care to distribute? If so, can you give me a montly amount that you care to receive from others? It can be as low as 10 up to whatever. Or, would you like me to remove you as a distributor from the list? I figured now that you're doing Avon you may want to promote both businesses, but I fully support whatever decision you make.
